The problem we solve
Most solar is sold as a package: a set number of panels, a standard battery, a fixed price. It's quick to quote, but it ignores the things that actually determine whether a system pays off: how and when you use energy, your roof's orientation and shading, your inverter's limits, and the network rules in your area.
- The result of package sales is systems that are oversized in the wrong way, undersized where it counts, or badly matched to the tariff they're sitting on. You end up paying for capacity you can't use, or missing value you should be capturing.
- We do it the other way around. We start with your data and your goals, then design the system to suit: hardware, sizing, battery strategy and retailer matching all considered together as one system.
How it works
- Discovery. We talk through your goals: lower bills, backup power, EV charging, maximising export income, or all of the above.
- Site & usage assessment. We assess your roof, shading, switchboard, network constraints and your actual consumption patterns.
- System design. We size and specify the full system (solar, battery, inverter and automation strategy), engineered to work together.
- Clear proposal. You get a straight-forward proposal explaining what we recommend and why, with honest expectations about performance.
- In-house delivery. Once you're happy, our own teams install and commission it. No subcontractors, no handoffs.

Why does design matter so much? Isn't solar just solar?
The panels are only part of it. How the system is sized, how the battery is managed, and which tariff it's matched to make an enormous difference to what you actually save and earn. Good design is where most of the value is won or lost.
Do you charge for a design consultation?

Will you tell me if I don't need a big system?
Yes. Good design means the right system, not the biggest one. We'll give you straight advice, even when it means a smaller system.
Can you design for future expansion?
Absolutely. We regularly design systems with headroom so you can add battery capacity or EV charging down the track without starting over.
What information do you need from me?
Ideally a recent electricity bill and some sense of your goals. We gather the rest during the site assessment.
Do you design commercial systems too?
Yes, we design and install for both residential and commercial sites across South-East Queensland.

For clients who want to go further, we can build in our optional Power Trader service, which most installers can't offer.
