How it works

Sized to last and to earn
Battery sizing isn't guesswork. We size against your actual consumption and your inverter's limits so your system is built around how you really use energy.
Where it makes sense, we tend to recommend oversizing the battery a little. It builds in headroom for the future and gives you spare capacity that can be exported, and if you opt into Power Trader, that spare capacity can be sold during high-value windows to earn more. It also protects against natural battery degradation: batteries lose a small amount of capacity over time, typically holding around 70% of their original capacity after about 10 years. Sizing with that in mind means your system still performs years down the track, not just on day one.

Batteries degrade gradually, typically retaining around 70% of their original capacity after about 10 years. We size with that in mind so your system still performs well down the track.
