We're based in Acacia Ridge. Not a call centre with a local number, but an actual workshop on Overlord Place. The Gold Coast is a straight run down the M1 from there, and it is part of the area our teams cover.

The coastal strip (Surfers Paradise, Broadbeach, Main Beach, Mermaid Beach, Burleigh Heads, Palm Beach, Currumbin and Coolangatta) sits close to the ocean. Salt air is a real factor here, so we specify salt-mist resistant panels, anodised or marine-grade racking and careful inverter placement. Many homes here are apartments and townhouses, where the first questions are body corporate approval, roof access and what the shared switchboard can carry. We start by working out what is possible before we design anything.
The canal and lake suburbs (Mermaid Waters, Clear Island Waters, Paradise Point, Runaway Bay, Hope Island and Varsity Lakes) have a lot of larger homes. Roof orientation is often mixed, so the layout and the choice of panels matter more than simply fitting the most panels on. Many of these homes are strong candidates for a battery to capture afternoon and evening use.
The newer growth corridor in the north, including Coomera, Pimpama, Ormeau, Helensvale and Oxenford, features recent homes with larger roof areas and newer electrical boards. These are often the most straightforward installs and frequently the best fit for a larger solar system paired with battery storage and EV charging.
The established inland suburbs (Robina, Carrara, Nerang, Merrimac, Mudgeeraba and Reedy Creek) mix older family homes with newer builds, and the hinterland pockets around Worongary, Tallai and Currumbin Valley bring larger blocks, more tree cover and sometimes three-phase supply. These sites reward a proper site assessment rather than a standard package.
Every system on the Gold Coast connects to Energex, and export limits and approval conditions vary by area and system size. We handle the application and the paperwork as part of the job, so it isn’t something you need to chase.
