Splosh Warehouse Solar & Battery Installation
Project Overview
Commercial Solar System
This Meadowbrook, QLD project involved the installation of a solar power system for a commercial warehouse, comprising 128 × 625W Trina solar panels.
The system was designed for self-consumption, allowing the warehouse to generate and use its own solar energy during the day and reduce its reliance on grid electricity.
Battery Energy Storage
The solar system is paired with 2 × Sungrow SH25T hybrid inverters and 2 × Sungrow SBH400 battery stacks, providing battery storage for excess solar energy generated during the day.
The hybrid inverters manage solar generation, battery charging and discharging, and interaction with the electricity grid to help optimise on-site energy use.
Energy Management
By combining solar generation with battery storage, the system allows the warehouse to make greater use of its own renewable energy and reduce the amount of electricity required from the grid.
The integrated system is designed to help manage the site's energy use and reduce its ongoing electricity costs.
