Solar Power System

This Karalee, QLD project involved the installation of a 46.06kW ground-mounted solar system, comprising 98 × 470W Tongwei Solar panels across four separate ground-mount arrays. The system has an estimated annual energy production of approximately 66,537kWh.

The three-phase, grid-connected system has a 5kW export limit per phase and was designed for self-consumption, allowing the property to generate and store solar energy for use during the day and after sunset.

Battery Energy Storage

The solar system is paired with a 25kW Sungrow SH25T hybrid inverter and a 30kWh Sungrow SBH300 battery, providing energy storage for use when solar generation is unavailable or additional energy is required.

Ground-Mounted Solar Installation

The 98 solar panels are distributed across four separate ground-mounted arrays, allowing the system to make effective use of the available space at this rural Karalee property.

Disconnect points were installed at each of the four arrays to allow the solar system to be safely isolated when required.

System Installation

The inverter and battery equipment were installed inside a purpose-built shed, alongside the property's switchboard and meter box. This provides a dedicated location for the system's energy equipment while keeping the installation organised and accessible.
