Solar Power System

This Greenbank, QLD project involved the installation of a 24.375kW rooftop solar system, comprising 39 × 625W Trina Solar Vertex N panels. The system has an estimated annual energy production of approximately 35,694kWh and is connected to the grid with a 5kW export limit per phase.

The system was designed for self-consumption, allowing the property to generate and make greater use of its own solar energy during the day.

Battery Energy Storage

The solar system is paired with 2 × Sigenergy SigenStor 15kW three-phase hybrid inverters and 10 × Sigenergy SigenStor 8kWh batteries, providing 80kWh of total usable battery capacity.

Five batteries are connected to each inverter, allowing excess solar energy to be stored for use when required, including after sunset.

Backup Power

The system provides near-instantaneous whole-home blackout protection and has the capability to operate off-grid when required.

The inverters and batteries were installed alongside the switchboard and meter box, with rooftop disconnect points installed to allow the solar array to be safely isolated.

EV Charging

The installation also includes a 25kW DC-to-DC EV charger for fast electric vehicle charging, with support for V2G (Vehicle-to-Grid) and V2L (Vehicle-to-Load) functionality.
