This Fairfield project is a wall-mounted Sigenergy EV charger, fitted to an external wall beside a timber fence. The charger has a clean white glass front and a socket for the vehicle's charging cable.

Two lines of white conduit run down from the unit, fixed to the wall with saddles. The result is a tidy finish, with the wiring protected from knocks and weather.

Why a dedicated charger

A wall-mounted charger on its own circuit charges faster and more safely than a standard power point, and it is built for regular overnight use. A charger like this can also be matched to solar and battery storage, so a household can charge from its own sunshine.
